Abstract
The 17 SDGs and 169 targets seek to rebuild a new universal agenda and envision to realise the human rights of all and to achieve gender equality and empowerment of all women (United Nations, 2015). Ending all discrimination against women is indispensable for future because it is already proven that empowering women helps economic growth and development. This paper tries to analyze the impact of skill development training programme offered by Rubber Board of India on women empowerment. 240 women respondents who participated in various technical training session organised by Rubber Board of India has taken as sample. As evidenced by the facts presented in the paper better technology usage has a significant impact on women’s empowerment. Hence all the extension services delivered by the Rubber Board have significant positive relationship with technology adoption and women empowerment in natural rubber cultivation in Kerala
