Abstract
Vermicompost, when used as fertilizer, not only bears positive impact on soil quality, plant growth and yield but also enhances nutritional value of crops produced. E. eugenia earthworms are renowned for producing vermicompost quickly and effectively for cellular growth needs. This study analyzed the vermicompost of leaf litter, phytochemical analysis, and phytotoxicity of E. eugeniae, FT-IR, Brine shrimp analysis, and enzymatic activity. The Phytochemical analyses were recorded and the plant growth parameters were significantly higher than the control.FT-IR analysis, functional groups like alcohol, phenol, carboxylic acid can be found in E. eugenia'sepidermis extract and pharynx extract. The brine shrimp assay reveals lower toxicity for both extracts. Pharynx extracts results are less toxic when compared to epidermal extract.
