Abstract

In the year 1979-80, a study was undertaken in Panchayat Samiti, Sambhar Lake, District Jaipur to find out the differential credibility of certain sources of information in three different village communities, It was found that the interpersonal locality sources were more credible and important to the farming communities, while mass media were the least credible. The television was an important and a credible source of information among the mass media.
