Abstract
The paper described the results of unilateral eye stalk ablation of pond-reared brooder collected from Khatumba (35 km South East of Okha) and of wild brood stock collected from Navibandar (160 km South East). Hydrological parameters such as salinity, pH, water temperature and DO₂ were also recorded and reported. The present status of shrimp culture in Gujarat is also discussed.
