Growth Analysis of the Karimnagar District Cooperative Central Bank (KDCCB) Andhra Pradesh

Abstract

The present study was carried out to assess the impact of a correspondence course in animal husbandry organized by GAU for field assistants of the Gujarat Sheep and Wool Development Corporation, with the objective of improving their knowledge through a teacher-made questionnaire during 2000–2001. The results revealed that respondents belonging to the middle-age group and having SSC and above educational qualifications took greater advantage of the correspondence course. The majority of respondents perceived the correspondence course as highly useful and reported that they acquired additional knowledge in various subjects and areas of animal husbandry. It was also observed that the majority (76.25%) of respondents had a highly favourable attitude towards the correspondence course on animal husbandry and had not faced any constraints during the course.
