Abstract
Light trap surveys at Sardar Krushinagar (kharif 1997–98) identified 14 scarabaeid species. Except for Holotrichia consanguinea, 13 whitegrub species (8 Melolonthinae species like Autoserica calcuttae, Schizonycha ruficollis, and 6 Rutelinae species like Adoretus bicolor, Anomala dorsalis) were recorded for the first time in Gujarat State.
