Abstract
An International Cowpea Disease Nursery comprising 104 multiple disease-resistant germplasm lines was evaluated for resistance to aphid (Aphis craccivora Koch)42. Six germplasm lines (TVU-57, TVU-408 P2, TVU-410, TVU-1037, TVU-3273, and TVU-4538) were identified as uniformly free of aphid infestation in both field and artificial glasshouse testing, with antibiosis operating as the basis of resistance
