Effect of azolla (Azolla pinnata) supplementation on performance of gramapriya chickens in rural semi intensive system 

Abstract

A study was conducted to evaluate the effect of Azolla supplementation on the performance of Gramapriya chickens under a rural semi-intensive system. Azolla supplementation at 20–30 g/day/bird improved bird performance, reduced feed cost and was found to be a cost-effective feed supplement.
