Abstract
Chemical assay of endosulfan residue was determined by spraying of two diffe- rent concentrations as well as different number of application. The residue of endo- sulfan on the brinjal fruit at the lower concentration (0.05 per cent) did not reach below tolerance level even after 15 days in case of three Sprayings of endosulfan after washing the fruits. There was reduction in residue content below the tolerance level after 10 days of the treatment of one spraying of 0.075 per cent endosulfan when the fruits were washed with tap water.
