Comparison of Kjeldahl's and Chromic Acid Methods of Nitrogen Determination

Abstract
The Kjeldahl's method of total N determination was compared with chromic acid method by analysing variable 30 soil and 29 plant samples. The chromic acid N agreed quite well with Kjeldahl's N in both the cases due to meagre variation in sample estimates and a non-significant 't' test.
