Abstract

The N and Zn content were high in the medium aged leaves of chiku. The old leaves had low K-content. Ca, Mg and Fe concentrations increased with the increase in age. After application of N, P and K, the leaf-N and K increased and leaf-Ca was also slightly increased. Fe and Mn depleted during fruit-set. Mg depleted during fruit-development. Leaf-N and K declined during fruit-set and fruit-development.
