Abstract
ield trials were conducted on 'Kalyan Sona' wheat at Junagadh testing nine herbicides, two mechanical methods, and an unweeded control[48][49]. Two hand weedings at 4 and 6 weeks recorded the highest grain yield (40.82 q/ha), closely followed by the herbicide TOK E-25 (40.59 q/ha)[50]. Eptam gave the lowest yield (9.0 q/ha) due to phytotoxic effects on germination.
